all aspects of love

hi hello!
My name is Caitlin.
I’m so happy you’ve found me.

I am an Australian wedding photographer based in the Blue Mountains, NSW.

I’m the dorky gal with a camera who captures the natural, the in-the-moment, and the authentic. Nothing forced, nothing uncomfortable - just you, your partner, and all your loved ones surrounding you.

I’m also a sucker for playful moments, authentic connections, and uncontrollable giggles. Your wedding day is an important part of your love story, and I want to be able to capture beautiful images for you to look back on for the rest of your lives. Let’s chat further about your day, where it’ll be held, what imagery you’re after, and so on via my contact form below.

PS - I wanna hear your love story too!
How did you meet your soulmate?! Who made the first move? What’s your favourite activity to do together? I gotta know!

my approach

Whether you get married in your own back yard or on a mountain top, everybody deserves amazing images to remember their special day. Everyone has an awesome story that is worth telling, and that is something I’d love to help share visually. I love getting to know my couples along the way and capturing the natural moments and real emotions whilst maintaining a creative, fun, and natural style. The entire marriage experience should be relaxed and enjoyable, because after all, it is a day of celebrating you.

My style of photography is for any kind of couple who want their wedding to be about who they are as a couple instead of being just another cookie cutter wedding.

Nic & Bre

“Caitlin is an absolute gem! Such a wonderful person with great energy and even better photography skills! She made us feel that comfortable on our wedding day that we were more than happy to be the dorks we are. All of the photos were amazing and the turn around was super quick! We have and will continue to recommend Caitlin to anyone who is after an amazing photographer.”

Abby & Jess

“The photos were perfection. We looked just like us - nothing staged or awkward. The gallery she gave us was huge and every photo was amazing in its own way. We got exactly what we'd hoped for, plus more. But the real reason you should book Caitlin is for Caitlin. She is one of the nicest, most genuine people I've met. You don't realise how much time you'll spend with your photographer on your wedding day. My wife and I were both instantly at ease, and so were our guests (which made the photos even better). It was so important to us as a same sex couple to choose vendors who made us feel comfortable and celebrated - and Caitlin went above and beyond. I would give 6 stars if I could. Maybe 7.”

“Caitlin made the whole process of booking, planning, celebrating and accessing gorgeous photos, simple and stress-free. She was always ready to jump in to lend a hand, which meant that our elopement unfolded exactly as we'd hoped it would. Caitlin's energy and enthusiasm made our big day so joyful. All that happiness comes through in an album that we absolutely love.”

engagement sessions

(Also known as couples sessions)

Alongside weddings and elopements of all sizes, I also love capturing engagement sessions. Engagement sessions are a great practice run for getting comfortable in front of the camera before your big day, as well as getting to spend some time with me and meeting me in person (if we haven’t been able to meet IRL yet!) These sessions can be laid back, at your favourite place, doing a fun activity together, or even in the comfort of your own home. There are no limits!

frequently asked questions

  • I currently live in Katoomba, surrounded by the incredible Blue Mountains National Park. I frequent Newcastle often though, so any area within the Hunter Region, Greater Sydney area, and of course the Blue Mountains and surrounds are places that I tend to end up in!

  • Yes! I’m not limited to the areas mentioned above, so flick me an email and let me know where you’ll be and we can make it happen regardless of your location. I love to explore and will happily visit anywhere to photograph your wedding.

  • Yes, absolutely! Elopements are on the rise, and I’ve photographed weddings big and small, so any size wedding or elopement is fine with me.

  • 1000% yes. Every couple to me is important. It’s not a “bride and groom” day. Its a couple’s day. Love is love. I’ve worked with a few queer couples and they have felt nothing but comfortable and at ease with me.

  • My prices begin at $1150 for elopement options. I offer many package options that cover 4, 7, and 10-hour days, as well as personalised packages if required.

  • I don’t limit myself to a number of photos, but to give you a rough idea, couples receive 80-100 per hour they’ve booked me to capture their day.

  • Definitely! I love to meet all of our couples before booking or before the big day. A wedding or elopement is such a personal day, andI want you to feel that I’m the right fit for you! However, if it’s too difficult to meet in person (or you live interstate/overseas) I’m happy to chat over the phone or video call.

  • Yes please! All-day photography takes a tonne of energy, so if you could cater for me, that would be greatly appreciated! I am vegan, so please pass on my dietery requirements to your caterer if I am booked during the meal time and reception.

  • That’s a-okay! I can stay as long as you need me, each extra hour will just incur an extra $400 fee and we can sort that out post-wedding day.

  • Try to avoid the middle of the day, when the sun is directly overhead (approx 11am – 3pm). This causes unflattering shadows and highlights on faces, and makes everyone squint! If you can, aim for a time where the sun is at a lower angle, particularly for your bridal photos. The last hour of light before sunset is prime portrait time. If you also need a hand planning your wedding day’s timeline, I can offer assistance!

  • If you have to move your date to a new one, please give me a heads up as soon as possible, so I can let you know what dates I have available. Your booking deposit covers the new date. If you have to cancel, I refund all amounts paid except for the non-refundable booking deposit.

  • I can cater to anyone and their desire to pay off the total amount in the way that suits them best. Anything from paying the remaining amount 2 weeks out from the date, sending over monthly amounts, or sending an amount every few months.
